Hello and thank you for visiting my website. My name is Jody Segrave-Daly and I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant with 20 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Neonatal Medicine and Maternal Child Health. An IBCLC, is an allied health professional who specializes in the clinical management of breastfeeding. IBCLC's must accumulate thousands of breast- feeding counseling hours and then pass a comprehensive board exam to demonstrate their competency. As of 2011, there are only 22,700 IBCLC's, worldwide! IBCLC's are the Gold standard of lactation management.
I offer evidence based lactation services with convenient in-home consultations. I also offer telephone and email support, from basic newborn, premature infant care, medical collaboration and support, to complex lactation challenges!
My philosophy is simple: I will listen to and empower every mother to meet their personal breastfeeding goals. Together, we will develop a plan that is totally comfortable and one that is designed to work for you!
